At the helm of Akana®, visual artist and jewelry designer Erika Lima brings over 20 years of experience in the jewelry and accessories market. The dream arises from her deep commitment to craftsmanship and sustainability.
"We explore colors, shapes, and materials without restrictions, moving away from the conventional while blending colors and styles in the pursuit of a lighter and more harmonious universe. Each piece is entirely handmade, crafted in a 100% artisanal manner.
The project, developed in Portugal, also incorporates the valuable work of artisans from Colombia and Ecuador. Together, we are hands working in unison, engaging in an authentic dialogue between designer and artisans, where creativity knows no bounds.
With a strong commitment to environmental impact, our production is intentionally limited and exclusive, preventing waste. We repurpose 100% of our pieces, reinventing them with new colors, shapes, and styles."
