The Amazonia Bag, developed in Portugal and crafted in the Philippines, is an homage to nature, capturing its unique colour palette in a piece of unusual sophistication.

 

This creation, which features the illustration by visual artist and designer Erika Lima, is a project built upon a base of natural materials, such as fibres, leather, and wood,and is meticulously hand-embroidered. The piece is part of the Akana (Wild Constellation) collection and represents a fragment of this magical adventure, embodying the emotion, desire, and beauty found in nature.

 

The project collaborated directly with communities throughout the Philippines, celebrating their materials and techniques: from the endemic buntal plant to raffia and jute.Production is slow and small-scale, reflecting a sustainable and respectful commitment to art and the environment.NOTE The Amazonia Bag also includes a longer extra strap measuring 75 cm.
